Breakeven is a hard one it all depends on contract sizes and costs. It is definitely in that 5-10 customer range in terms of being cash flow positive on a Q basis imo.

Be mindful that 1 licence such as HSBC, they can sell this multiple times within each bank that signs on.
So Nick has stated in the past that they want to sell it to 10 licences within HSBC. One is live and another will be in the next 6 months.

The advantage is that this can be replicated for other tier once banks as well. As the continue to scale it will make it a easier proposition if they have a strong base of customers and a sign of confidence in the Banking marketplace.

What part are you struggling to understand?. In a very simplistic way they have a recurring revenue business.
Every Tier 1 bank globally potentially are a customer. In terms of what products they can sell into the banks they have up to 10 modules to sell.

The main focus is on limitations on the underlying SWIFT payment which only enables a limited amount of characters attached to each payment. Which results in many mistakes being made down the line and highly inefficient manual handling and time is money in resources. The overlay product gives the ability to have unlimited instructions on a SWIFT payment. The other main few is the regulatory product which gives the business a Clear overview of the business from a regulatory standpoint. This is important as we know fines over the past few years runs in the billions of dollars. They also have a token which enables the secure path of information from one client to another which is an open banking ready product through the private blockchain. This company has many ways to skin the cat, the data standard changes to ISO20022 is also a massive catalyst. Many of the banks that need to make these changes to the legacy systems are yet to do these changes and will be forced to in the coming years. This opportunity is still early days for id8, so fingers cross we can see a few deals starting with the one Tuesday.

I agree it can be somewhat confusing to some people and the team imo will try make the product a clearer pitch in presentations this half. But ultimately they just need to deliver and the price will start to head towards 50c as a minimum.
