There is no logical reason whatsoever that NOPTA will not approve the PEP11 drilling.
Another well was drilled in PEP11 ten years ago.
The well location back then was determined using 2D seismic.
Not before, during or after the well was drilled were there any environmental problems whatsoever.
NIL, ZERO, ZIP.
Any concerns the greens etc had back then were completely unfounded.
2D seismic surveys have already been conducted for the forthcoming well which will be drilled with the same restrictions care and concern for the environment as the well in 2010.
And as far as being “visually” damaging from the shore:
The rig is many kilometres to sea off the east coast.
Allowing for the curvature of the earth
a google search tells us:
For an observer standing on the ground with h = 2 metres (6 ft 7 in), the horizon is at a distance of 5 kilometres (3.1 mi). For an observer standing on a hill or tower 30 metres (98 ft) above sea level, the horizon is at a distance of 19.6 kilometres (12.2 mi).
So any talk by the greens and others using
The‘visually damaging”argument is nonsense.
And gas as an energy source is far more environmentally friendly than coal.
SO THE GREENS DO NOT HAVE A SINGLE SENSIBLE LOGICAL ARGUMENT TO OPPOSE THE DRILLING.

This brings me to assailed:
.
He obviously has problems with BPH,
None of us here are:
legally, financially, medically, or otherwise qualified to deal with his problems.
He contributes nothing except negativity in every single post.
We all understand BPH is a risk/reward play.
But his message is “BHP is doomed“.....no matter what.
And he is causing you anxiety!
To avoid this:
Do your own thinking after weighing up all the information available.
(And you certainly have taken a meaningful interest in PEP11 )
Remember the risk/reward.
And the best thing for your own peace of mind:
“Put him on ignore “
And Cheerrr...bro
With respect to the ignore button.
I recommend you do the same.
