Ready for another trading week? Hopefully, everyone is well rested.

So the big news is that the FDA were pushed to grant Emergency Use Approval for Convalescent Plasma.

'Hospitalized patients who received the plasma within three days of diagnosis, are under the age of 80 and not on mechanical ventilation, benefited the most, with a 35% improvement in survival 30 days after receiving the transfusion compared with patients who got plasma with low antibody levels, according to Dr. Marks.' - Wall Street Journal

This is both good and bad for Mesoblast.

• The bad part first, it has lowered the bar for what can be approved by the FDA for Covid-19 and also the speed of the approval - therefore, reducing Mesoblast's MOAT
• The good part is, because the bar is set so low, and the speed of approval is demonstrated with a covid-19 solution that only improve 35% of patients that are not even receiving mechanical ventilation, then you'd think Mesoblast got an easier pathway for approval with the sicker patients

So where to for the SP today?
There may be an initial mis-understanding that the EUA approval for Plasma may have a negative impact on Mesoblast and the SP may be driven down - maybe just a tad below $5.

I think that this will be corrected throughout the day and we'll end up in $5.30s, yep it's gonna step up and skip the closing in the $5.20s
