I too believe that WES will succeed with Coles. I also believe that they are still lightyears behind WOW.

Ask the average punter in the street which supermarket offers them the most satisfying grocery shopping experience (oxymoron, I know lol). I have tried this and the answer is Woolies far more often than Coles, Aldi, IGA etc etc. This is also my personal experience. Light, bright, clean, modern, conveniently located stores that offer variety of choice encourage more people to shop there than cost alone (hence most people haven't converted to Aldi, regardless of cost of goods).

In my view, WOW will continue to outperform all other competitors for years to come, and indeed the only realistic threat (albeit not for quite a few years) is Coles.

Look at it from the point of view of the average person in the street. Where do they shop? Don't over analyse things and just look at the facts that are in front of your eyes is my advice.
