I definitely hear that perspective. The question is, when do you stop making
exceptions... Before I transitioned fully to uncompromising risk management
based trading I made a few exceptions over the years where I let myself
become convinced about the groundbreaking nature of certain companies.
I literally watched relative fortunes turn to dust out of greed.
I also have studied the trading history of many majorly successful companies.
The long-lasting and sustained major gains are almost always based around
earnings and fair amounts of opportunities are presented along the way that
could satisfy anyone but the chronically ill with greed. There are always exceptions
but I honestly don't think I could have ever picked them, without some serious
luck (though as a strong believer, perhaps I should say Divine assistance)

As I mentioned before, I am envious of the knowledge and capabilities of those
who are able to truly understand this tech, and how it shapes up against
other projects in the pipeline out there somewhere.
I sometimes read a website called Nanalyze (mainly for enjoyment) and am
constantly blown away by what is being worked on. I sometimes feel like I
want to pile all my money into almost every one of them lol.
I just know what I'm good at, and that it works.
I never cease to be amazed by how often technical targets prove to hold
even with the argument of extremely unique fundamentals.
I will be happy for all out there if this just keeps going higher (including
myself for what I have left, as it is still a meaningful parcel). The sad reality
of the greed and fear rollercoaster of the market isn't going anywhere,
of that I am certain. Who it hits and when; remains to be seen.
