the cnp announcement indicated no divvies were payable until certain senior debt was repayed (read the announcement). If this also applies to cer then I'd have thought vpg would be more likely able to pay. I agree with other comments here in that it is likely that retaining cash in this climate would appease institutions scanning for bargains. (Not that i'd complain at even a 2 cent div).
