Hope u didnt have a situation of 'Don't come knockin' if the Landcrusier's rockin' on the dunes ;-)

Need 2b vary of 2 things here,

1) These are all shallow wells, so the hydrostatic pressure wouldn't b too high to give us a gusher despite a huge oil column. Its not going 2b a case of "Thar she blows". This is primarily due to the SG of oil. So expect in the low hundreds & I'd b happy with a sustainable flow rate over time rather then a depleted reservoir in 8 weeks time.

2) We could have multiple oil pools in the area as the oil is hosted in different rock formations atrributed to different depositional enviro, hence SG would b all over the place. U could have heavy, medium & light oil from the same well.

As mentioned earlier, that mineral well with SG of 15 deg API got me thinking. 15 is classed under heavy oil & needs some artificial stimulus to flow (not a gusher), in this case a pump. Imagine sucking a frozen slushie thro' a straw at McDonalds, u thaw it & out she oozes!! Also the Carmopolis field has oil SG between 21-23 API so SG is not a concern, as most wells in the area are shallow & have flown with aid of pumps.

As for prodn test, best to bring over a w/o rig & use this to drill another NORD-SE well or a 3rd well on this block in a triangle pattern. What will happpen in time with the plan to drill 14 wells, some of these will become injector wells when prodn drops off, all part of field development.
