Good on you to have worked out your strategy and I am really happy as a fellow shareholder that it works out well for you - all the best !
I have been into Apt shares about 2 1/2 years ago and I did keep buying and holding the whole holdings for long term till mid last year !
As I saw Apt shares have had volatile ride (particularly during the AUSTRAC issue) I decided to go about 60 % long term ( I think I mentioned it already, I will cash it when SP gets to $240 !!) and 40 % shorter term, meaning I sell when it spikes and I buy when it retracts more than 5% !! It really works out very well for me !!
I was also lucky that I bought a large portion when it plunged in March and keeping those for the long term !
