If so why are they having so much trouble selling assets? Would have thought that if their book value is less than its true value and they are keen to reduce debt by selling assets then it would be easy to sell those assets. I wouldnt be listening to what the CEO says (who has his own agenda when making such statements) but what is actually happening out there.
Saying all this I think Australian assets have held up relatively well but in context CER have 31 Australian properties and 417 US properties so how they are holding up in Australia is probably of the minor relevance.
