Obviously that fixed price contract was for the construction of the plant, they then had to let contracts for mobile equipment such as loaders,tractors and a contract for openpit development,etc,etc.
The unfortunate fire that happened was a contributor to the increase in overall costs together with an increase in the scope of the project but this BOD had the finance in place to handle these increases and they now have the project in production.
They're not sitting on a 40% built project - which is a useless situation - threatening a $120 mil expenditure - a potential white elephant.
