binga01...
I have no issue with your posts...really...just the part where you appeared to be questioning my right to an opinion.
It seems of late that some on HC have the opinion that others do not have the right to an opinion...lol...I hope you can see the irony of this.
Anyway, appologies if I came over a litte harshly.
No doubt the rise today would not typicaly be sustainable, but this is where measured assessment of the facts can help is determine such things.
I have seen stocks hold such gains...and post more day after day...typically around discoveries which have a significant re-rating effect.
With a market cap of just $23m, $3m of which is cash, I am trying to determine if RXM is cheap and yet to realise its short-term value re-rating...or indeed, overpriced based on results to date?
Frankly, I suspect even RXM are not sure how big this new discovery might be, which is why I am using my own resources...including posting views here.
I see a massive geopysical target here, right in the middle of elephant country...and in the drill results I see the potential signs of elephant droppings. We have multiple shear/fault zones, numerous mineralised footprints, low grade shears, high grade shears, parallel structures, continuation at depth, major geopysical targets at depth, Au, Cu and uranium within typical IOCG parameters...and of course, a current drilling program which has barely scratched the surface in my view.
But...it is all still a very big unknown at this stage.
Of course, RXM have other assets, particularly gold, so not all value is being attributed to this new find..
As for funding...any smart management would take advantage of such a rise to lock in futre cash securuty, especially in the current market...this goes without saying...but what price will they set it at, if it happens at all, is anyone's guess.
Did it overheat today?...yes, most certainly. Is she overpriced however?...this much I suggest is hard to say, although I suspect not.
At a corporate level, will the extra liquidity be attractive to maintain, both from the point of view of the Company and indeed the major supporters on the register?...you bet your bottom dollar.
But will they sieze on the chance...who knows?
Game on here in my view...but only if the Company recognises the opportunuty. If they are smart, they will use the new interest to place the trading of the Company's shares, previously crippled through low liquidity, into the realm of market interest. This is good for the Company and is equally attractive to larger and indeed smaller shareholders alike, especially in the current market.
To be honest, I am not at all stressed about the immediate price direction...I don't actually have all that many yet, as she took off well before I could accumulate and will likely by more at some point.
Better cheaper than dearer...lol
I would like to be able to make an informed decision though, which is why I engaged tastarga who's opinion I respect, in spite of our locking of horns from time to time.
Cheers!
