Googled it and found this.This crossover requires that a recent bearish trend reverses into a bullish pattern as selling tapers off. After the crossover occurs, the golden cross is completed if the 50-day moving average continues to rise above the 200-day moving average rather than cross back below it.Jul 2, 2018
