Agreed. Its nothing more than a throw away line. The conversations could have ended immediately with 'no thanks not interested' - there just isnt any disclosure. Peculiar they thought it warranted inclusion in the annual report to be honest. Investors should be able to take it as read that the sales team are making calls... it is literally their job.
