On a sidenote, I work in banking and can tell you banks have a lot of problems (increases in regulatory costs, margin compression due to lower cash rate, possible higher losses due to housing price decline, higher default rates, neo-banks just to name a few). BNPL would be so far down the priority list I can pretty much guarantee it wouldn't even be mentioned in Exec or Board committees. The fact that credit card usage is in decline isn't anything new to them.

Bnpl being so far down the list of banks, is this why CBA are investing heavily in Klarna? Or are they not considered a bank?
