From BOM, Moree and Walgett (northwest NSW) have both had 32.6mm of rain in August 2020, with Moree's last fairly substantial fall being 10mm on 15 August and Walgett's mostly on 7 and 8 August 2020, but a drizzle or two since.
Much further south, Temora has had an amazing 73.6mm in August, the most recent rain being on the 24th.
I am no Paydirt7 and not a rural dweller but wouldn't this precipitation mean a good amount of subsoil moisture and ideal growing conditions for wheat and other crops, subject to pests (or flooding) not becoming an issue?
The GNC share price rise during the past couple of weeks means this (although one of many factors) hasn't gone unnoticed. Happy times?
