That's not quite right - you must have been looking at the wrong chart.

ALB is down 38.2% from its peak one week ago ie it is now at 17c and the peak was at 27.5c.

Two weeks ago ALB was at 11c and is currently 54.5% ABOVE that.

Nickel stocks continue to fall slightly. The stocks have remained in the 77,500 to 79,000t range for 11 trading sessions now.

The Nickel price dropped dramatically from $5.2745 to $4.6735 but recover some ground to $4.8769 yesterday. If the Nickel price holds then I would expect some confidence to return to ALB, if not then I would expect to see a slide on light trading as indicators and traders sit out what appears to be a mini-slump in an overall rising trend.

Half a million dollars worth traded today, but only a -5.56% movement although there was a dip to -16.67% in early trading. Most of the volume was dumping, up side has been lighter.

So it all hangs on the Nickel price at the moment. Once the price gets to $10/lb we'll be looking at other variables more closely.
