iron prices starting to increase

Iron ore concentrate moves up in North China - 14 Jan, 2009
It is reported that recent iron ore concentrate market edges up in the north China with the price entirely increasing around CNY 30 per tonne.

Current acceptance price of Fe 65% dry basis ore concentrate stays at CNY 870 per tonne in Shandong Province with CNY 830 per tonne from middle and small mines. Fanchang Fe 64% dry basis stands at CNY 800 per tonne to CNY 820 per tonne as well as that of Tongling Fe 64% dry basis. Fe 65% dry basis remains at CNY 830 per tonne to CNY 850 per tonne, Ma'anshan Fe 65% dry basis at CNY 840 per tonne and Zhenjiang Fe 65% dry basis at CNY 870 per tonne.


Bought a few TTY today, for a producer it was oversold and must be back in the black with these latest price increases
