Good point. SAMR would be most unlikely for production in Australia. Also, the production in China would use Australian produce, the result being "made in China" from 100% imported Australian ingredients. My guess. I am not sure how the Chinese consumer views it.

It would be a little harder to sell it as a premium product (compared to before), sale price concessions can be assumed thus leading to more pressure on the margins.

I could not find the exact amount needed for the investment in China, but the CR of about $38 mio is more than half their annual turnover or 10% of total shares issued.

All this would be absolutely no problem, if BUB could demonstrate they can make profit. We can post here until the goats (just joking) come home, it will always come back to one issue: PROFIT. Even a little, in a quarter, and then so on. ... But, we have to wait (for Godot), or become LTholders, or ...

For rational investor, the long term holding strategy is not that appealing, because any company with persistent quarterly losses is a company on borrowed time (WHA is a case in point).

On the other hand, I have great admiration for Kirsty Carr. She absolutely drives BUB. She (she started the goat milk business with her sister) and her enthusiasm enticed me to invest in the first place. Probably the best sales woman around.

The whole financial situation, however, is somewhat vexing and disappointing..
