I'm still around The lithium sector is struggling by first being hit by the Chinese subsidy cuts last year which resulted in no overall EV sales growth in 2019 (although battery sizes went up significantly) and now the virus, all while mines have come online (so lots of oversupply right now). So strong EV growth is needed again to get demand up and some price recovery for SC6 producers. One could say that AVZ is fortunate that it didn't build too early. I'll come back into this sector more strongly once the supply demand situation looks to improve.

In regards to where the road is at, they are betwen Mitwaba and Tambo. Wet season always slows down the updates as the last update was about the effects of rain. They will need to bitumen the whole thing ultimately like the first 20km of the road.

There is this video of the works in the hills after Mitwaba from late last year. Although as we've seen, AVZ don't plan on using that road (617) but are suggesting they want to hit the rail junction to the south west with some road works of their own (although we did dig up some hints that some road works are already underway there discussed in earlier posts). To be perfectly honest, AVZ's transport solution is still the big weakness of the whole project. I still think a proper transport solution is a conversion plant on site as part of some big funding package once prices improve. Stay safe!
