Just remember the old saying 'Two wrongs don't make a right' when you state: ' Woolahra council wants to make the pedestrain crossings automatic on the Sabbath (Saturday) because Jewish people are forbidden to push buttons on their day of rest.' It certainly will not be passed if only on the basis of its stupidity.
Its' nearly as silly as cultures that force women to cover their faces.
And its' not about beliefs (I am an atheist) it's about the rights of women, civil society and suffocation of freedom ie how can a woman be free if her culture forces her to hide her face.
NB Maybe all religions should be banned as they are ALL based on mumbo jumbo and ignorance.
