I also don't know whether to vote yes or no for these "requisitioning shareholders". I really don't understand what they intend to do, other than simply dethrone the current directors. If all they want to do is bring MEC back into trading and not go ahead with the distribution, that is not going to help if our interest in Advent Energy continues to erode by MEC investing elsewhere at the same time BPH is increasing its stake. These shares need to be distributed to us. David Breeze has made it perfectly clear that his plan is to IPO Advent Energy. PEP11 is now BPH's gig, not MEC's and we all stand to get shares in the daddy company of all PEP11 (Advent) when it lists. How can that be a bad thing?

I am keen to see the in-specie distribution go ahead - our shares are better off directly in Advent IMO and MEC made it clear long ago and many times since that it wanted to divest its interests in oil and gas (not just PEP11). This I now find surprising again given they say they may be looking into new oil and gas ventures to invest in ... what?

In terms of a PEP11-less future for MEC, I am very interested and excited in their mention of potential future gold and silver investments. I have gold and silver fever 365 days a year - I am even more bullish with precious metals than I am with PEP11 (so far just the physical stuff, not ETFs or stocks) and I would be very happy to take part in future MEC CRs if they are investing in gold and silver mining projects.
