I had a hunch you would end up answering your own question with something about inflation.
Can you maybe expand a little, and seeing as how we are on this website for investment one way or another, could you possibly describe if inflation affects the three broad asset classes being shares, cash and property any differently and therefor needs to be highlighted in the property forum?
i've made some calcs but would like to hear your thoughts first in case i've missed something.
