Read the next paragraph "How to accept this offer - I interpret this section as a possible early close off - not sure if this is an either/or - the above paragraph mentions scale back, this paragraph mentions they can have an early close off, I suppose the SPP manager would like the excess application fees for a period, from ST!'s point of view, the sooner the close off, the better & participants would be much happier knowing their position & that their funds are not locked up waiting the scale back outcome!
