Willbass, can I ask why there is a group on people who come to a country like australia for what seems to me to be solely economic and safety issues yet can criticise the people, albeit a minority group, who drink beer, supposedly beat their wives etc, who I agree arent the best roles models for the majority of australians, and try to portay all australians being the same and bad mouth Australia to the world as being bad becuase it doesnt want what can be described as a mediveal practice to be established as a law. Many migrants that have come here are grateful beyond belief that they are here. yet we have another group who beleive feel that they are badly done by and persucted etc.
If australia, and the weestern world is so bad to this group of people, why do they come here in the first place. It seems a shame that some people can not accept australia as the great place it is for them to practice their beliefs with out persecuation and in safety, to accept that there will be others groups that will have views that are not the same and accept that they cannot dicate to the rest of australia their minority view as the only view.
We are all lucky to be here, bet it seems some want more.
