newtothegame. I assume you mean you DO like some aspects of decency.

I understand where you are coming from and you come alot nicer when you are not talking in frustration and sarcasm.

The Osama's and Saddams of the worlds are oppressive tirents who should be dammed to hell. Their views are sick and against the teaching of Islam. Saddam was convicted of the mass murder of 300,000 Muslim civilians in Iraq and thats why he was hanged. Which Muslim kills other Muslims?

People coming here do not know what society is like here and chances are they are happy with their own customs. When women come here wearing a burqa, they see other women dressed much less modestly. They know the laws and how abuse is not tolerated here. So why (if they wanted to) would they remove the Burqa? They know they are safe, even from their husbands.

We cannot delve into the minds of every woman that wear a Burqa but that is what you are doing (or trying to).

As stated, covering the face is not required, but covering the hair and being modestly dressed is. Many women like to step it up as a sign of their commitment to God and themselves that this life (or world) is not as important to them as the next (ie going to heaven).

There are many reason why they choose this (and yes many of them are forced by oppressive regimes or family or husbands, which eventually will cause them to rebel if they have the chance, like in afghanistan).
