Mr H IMO it made/makes no difference what FAR tried to PE.
There were no PE rights in a share sale period.
As you say though COP sold the WI as per their SEC filing.
FAR tried to PE but COP would have received a blunt phone call from WPL saying withdraw your PE rights notice because there are none in a share sale.
Coleman said this when he said " COP chose a different path ".
COP stonewalled.
FAR thought the arbiters would be able to make a decision on COP offering them PE rights....completely wrongly.
Both parties paid their own share because FAR could have taken the COP PE notice to court.
They probably should have it would have put WPL in a much more difficult situation.
