Too early for a clear view which won't be howled down by his sycophants.
As always, history will allow a dispassionate review but it will take another couple of decades. Even today, there are people who refuse to acknowledge that Nixon did anything wrong.
In the future, when the dispassionate view is possible, I have little doubt he will be ranked as the worst ever (at least by the majority of historians, you'll never get complete agreement).
There are many people here on Hotcopper who will go to their graves arguing that he did a great job just as there are people who swear that fairies live at the bottom of the garden.
