Don't take me wrong.

I never wish for misfortune for any trader.

My cycle studies suggest mid 2013 as the best we can hope for here as a serious bottom and probably much later for the US.

I am happy to reexplain my views, but I would like to hear your reasonings for a major low at this point.

1949 was the only time in memory when a low took place at this stage in a decade and yes it is 60 years so has some significance.

We had major bull markets in the 1980's then the 1990's and then the 2000's and asking for another now is stretching things just a little.

A good rally, at some stage, of course, but all the evidence suggests that the SP500 2000 highs would last for probably 17 years.
