Doing this on consecutive days paints a misleading picture technically and is a common tool in manipulating SP.
The average vwap today was 6.5c and again very a tight tradin
g range..
This in my view is positive for a number of reasons. First, flat action is a good way for overbought markets to consolidate and become less extended.
Quite often when stocks go up quickly there is a tendency to look for a sharp drop to fix the overbought conditions. We have had this and now are looking to accomplish stability more effectively with some slow and flat action as seen here and more desirable and predictable..A base from which to take next step up.
Another benefit of a narrow range is that it helps charts to develop.
This is one reason for manipulating the close price. It distorts charts to the neg or pos.
Overhead resistance and underlying support become more evident when there is a trading range action and that provides better parameters for risk control.
Flat actions denotes less volatility and more pressure . Stocks trade more on their individual merits when they aren't all moving together based on headlines or strong emotions.
On the rsi this was way overbought recently easily breaching the 80 mark.
A combination of factors have seen it sold down, none of which in my opinion is fundermentally based.
its appears to be sitting comfortably in the mid 6s for now..
