A great Zoom online meeting with gold mining executives including Morgan Hart in Perth and Peter Grosskopf of Sprott in Toronto. Morgan was very punchy and got his message through with many new pictures of up to date developments at Okvau and the MACA rock movers on the ship. He fielded questions from several of the 68 meeting participants very well, including Peter Grosskopf, who asked him about EMRs plans for future acquisitions, to which he responded that it was in emr's pipeline to make an Australian gold acquisition in order to lie within the Australian tax regulations to allow the payment of dividends to shareholders. However the price of making an Australian acquisition had become higher due to the increasing price of gold.
We learnt from Sprott that there was no shortage of funds for developments, or shortage of projects. However there was a shortage of build teams, that would hold up constructions. Not with EMR however, as Morgan pointed out earlier that EMR's build was all in house teaming. Sprott made the prediction that 2021 would be a record year for mergers and acquisitions. " Game On !!"
