LONDON, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Deutsche Bank's (DBKGn.DE) RREEF Infrastructure, together with an infrastructure fund run by Babcock & Brown (BNB.AX), will lodge a first-round bid for London's Gatwick airport, sources familiar with the matter said on Monday.
Spain's Ferrovial (FER.MC) put Gatwick up for sale late last year, with indicative bids due in on Monday.
RREEF declined to comment. A spokesman for Babcock & Brown in London said it did not comment on market rumours or speculation.
Last week the Times newspaper said RREEF and Babcock & Brown's European infrastructure fund were leading a bidding consortium called Gatwick Future Partnership.
