A mate of mine just moved rental houses in Sydney.
The new 3 bedroom house with new kitchen, bathrooms, air-con and big backyard wanted $830. It was on for 2-3wks no interest so they dropped the rental to $790. My mate and his wife offered $730 and the landlord came back same day and said they can have it for $750 a week.
This same property 2yrs ago would rent for at least $850-$900 a week
