PS: IMO, we should have kept our anti-China powder dry until such time as corvid blew by , but now the Trump gini is out of the bottle we simply cant put it back in.
We are now in economic dire straits by backing Trump so we should be asking for, and getting, US economic support to make us less dependant on China, Imo.
A lay $500 billion USD without strings attached would permit us to build 2 mega steel smelters/mills and not alone would this minimise our support of China's steel led economy , we could compete favourably with China in the finished steel global market.
