ALB finished -11% on bad news, PAN, which has been talked up by all here, fell 6.8% without any news release at all...At least ALB had a reason to fall, what was PAN's excuse?
If we take the fall in the All Ords as a reason then at least half of ALB's fall can be attributed to that fall as well.
All in all a good result considering that half their Nickel mine is closing.
I note that ALB rose by 16.6 percentage points after Entropylord made this statement:-
"Yes, and I am surprised it is not down further, the business update was pretty grim reading, as if prior updates had not expressed sufficient doubt about the viability of the operation."
[Was -27.78% when he made that statement, ended up at -11.11%]
Looks like nobody was picking them today...
