Well, whilst you have been predicting upwards movement in the shareprice, and losing money, it's been the "no stock holders" (and holders with a more realistic view) who have been saying that CER's price was bound to drop.

So, I wonder who posters should really be taking more notice of...

I am not suggesting that CER is a dud...for the long haul, it may all work out alright....but why buy now when it seems inevitable that it will fall below seven cents, at least.

People talk about asset sales as if it were a given, but how many assets have ANY of the debt-stricken companies on the ASX actually sold...a couple of smallish assets at nominal prices, at best. BBI seem to be the only ones who have actually achieved anything even remotely decent...and they still have PLENTY of hurdles to pass. At least their assets are in infrastructure, and not shopping centres.

So, with near on one billion due at the end of the year, and with banks globally losing billions upon billions upon billions, where exactly is the money for purchases of CER's assets, shopping centres with increasing vacancies, going to come from??? And how will they possibly achieve book value under current and likely future economic conditions over the next twelve months. Perhaps Rudd & co will save the day LOL.

The banks have kept CER alive for now...but it wouldn't surprise me at all if in a year's time CER is forced down the path of it's parent and is subjected to a debt for equity conversion, after it's inability to complete adequate assets sales, or refinancing.

The shareprice may appreciate a little in the near future, or it may not...so some trading opportunities may present themselves for the GOOD traders out there...but for mine, overall, it's bound to trend downwards over the next few months.

So many better and safer options out there IMO, but, each to their own I guess.
