so a dump and dump has a few drawbacks for holders prior to the p&d but just two name would be sentiment towards the company generally they are viewed as risky and an untrustworthy investment because It is happening to this security and could reoccur.
secondly people caught in pump and dumps are usually not very sophisticated investors so they generally will hold until they can get there buy price back meaning good news could be sold into by stale holders looking to get there cash back.
