The good couple of decades for renters had are now gone.

It was during those times that so many said...

why buy when it's so cheap to rent,no responsibilities for the property with maintenance etc and plenty of spare money to have a good time with?

There are probably many who regret that way of thinking now.

With interest rates dropping significantly, house prices 20-50% higher in 24-36 months, rents about 30-50% higher and taking about 40% of someones wage each week, I can see why a few renters on here are gettin a tad narky.

Might be time to pay the piper and jump in.....now would be as good a time as any to buy imo.......if I was a firest homebuyer id be looking very seriosly considering the FHOG initiatives and the current rates on offer.

Cheaper than renting in more and more areas each interest rate drop we have.
