Look I have not read anywhere near most of the posts on this thread topic, but I just can't help but say that I despair for the Nation when you have Premiers like Daniel Andrews and Anastasia palaschez with so much power at the moment.
Did you see the debt that Queensland looks like they're going to get to, and they will have covid-19 to blame, but they have been heading to near bankruptcy for years, and Campbell Newman was the only premier that realised it. Anna Bligh blamed the floods and cyclones, but pretty welll started the decline in financial position.
I think I read somewhere today that there is 30000 public servants in QLD on more than $140,000 a year.... and if you look at it 30000 x 1000 is $30 million dollars so they are very good at wasting money.
They have caved into wages demands from public servants too many times, and even the ones under $100000 they have probably been too blase with their money. The ballooning in numbers of public Servants has probably been the biggest issue though .
I'm sure Victoria would be no different but they started off with a much lower Debt.
