Hi Giose. Not a fail, just not a huge success yet. Still a long way to go with this company. Perhaps dreams of $1 a share are unrealistic, but in spite of the unfulfilled expectations from the announcement, the sp did not tank and actually went up a little. The company still is doing what it does which is basically scientific research into hopefully effective anti viral compounds which may lead eventually to commercially valuable products.
i think the main downer for many on hc who are abandoning it now is that they are not really all that interested in what the company achieves scientifically, just how much money they might make, and they disapprove of the slow and steady way this company progresses. However, it is progressing and the goals are still there. The HIV result is still there. The success of the company, or its failure, primarily hinges on that and whether a large pharma will incorporate BIT in its drug lines.
A covid “cure” is a possibility but is still a high risk financial strategy. There is no other way the company can proceed on that other than what they are doing in order for it to be a success. It would be good if they could do it faster but that takes money. In the initial investigations done so far, they were going in cold, just had to do what could be done without breaking the bank or taking away from their main focus on hiv. Perhaps now they have some good preliminary results worth proceeding with they may get some extra external funding, but no guarantee there.
So Giose, no fails. It is only in the eyes of the get rich quick holders and detractors who are disappointed, that it is a fail.
