Well, the big drop in SP was partly contributed by shorters. Have a look at https://www.shortman.com.au/stock?q=ifl, short interest changed from 5.45% before the CR to 8.12% on 2 September, an increase of 2.67% in short interest in just one day!
I also believe that the majority of yesterday's close volume of 2.8 million shares were also short interest. https://www.asx.com.au/data/shortsell.txt
These shorters will need to cover their shorts by buying back on the market one day. If we don't sell then they will be in trouble.
