lets face it - some folk are gonna believe what they wanna believe - be it the words of politicians, the media, their clergy, whatever. in the end the blind will lead the blind, and the rest of us can do what we can to either take advantage of it, or shield ourselves from the effects.
it normally takes 12 or so months for the previous govt policies to wear off, and the new govt ideas to begin to take hold, and then only another 2 years before they have to go begging for more time. (lengthen terms to 5 years please)
considering the severity of this current situation, and the widespread damage being done, the economy is proving nearly impossible to manage; its simply prepare the best you can, bunker down, maintain the essentials and hope the smoke clears in time to repair the damage.
fwiw, we need a spending govt right now, and with plenty in the kitty to play with, use it with the view of establishing industries that will be needed in 5 years time. no more individual bonuses (which DID do its job of maintaing the retail sector & assoc jobs thru the xmas period) but now heavily invest in industries that need to cater for future needs, and policies (yes the renewables sector)
and a message to one m turnbull - will you shutup and go away until you have an answer - a real answer - and not just rhetoric to wind up the close minded posters of this world (and this is also a message to both sides, not just libs)
