My discussions with the people at Monash were one thing but I thought I would see what I could find on the web for other Universities.

Not so easy just yet.

I went to this site http://www.aei.gov.au/AEI/MIP/Statistics/StudentEnrolmentAndVisaStatistics/default.htm

but the December data is not available yet so I won't be able to get any 2009 data just yet.

However, I found this one news article which may be a sign of things to come:

This is a Jan 20, 2009 article I dunno where I can get something more recent.

At least at that Uni, they seem to be experiencing the same thing that Monash is experiencing.

I love lines like this "defying predictions of national downward trend in overseas enrolments".

The doomsayers can't seem to pick a winner can they?
