The big difference is that at the time the SP dropped from $40 the impact on APT wasn't understood because investors haven't experienced a "through-the-cycle" event.
The COVID-19 situation has turned into a net positive for Afterpay with record low loss rates and a much faster adaptation from customer and merchants due to the shift to online shopping. So just based on that, the share price should be significantly higher than $40. Not to mention the strategic cap raise to invest into new markets in Europe and Asia and the strategic partnership with Tencent...
In my view the SP got ahead of itself at $95 but it's extremely unlikely we'll see the SP go below $66 again. AIMO.
