It would be great if AT1 was in discussions with ADO as a partner in the manufacturing process of ADO's COVID 19 antigen test.
Today's announcement by ADO states that they are looking to outsource production of various parts of the test to Australian companies, great to see they are trying to look after their home country and would be great to see AT1 part of that.
ADO has created a test that can detect Covid 19 just 1-2 days after infection creating a window of 3-4 days until someone becomes infectious. That window is the key to significantly reducing transmissions as until now only infectious people can be detected. Possibly no longer a need for a 2 week quarantine as this new test could bring that time down to just a few days quarantine. ADO are about to launch clinical trials for approval to sell in AUS and the US.
Food for thought but it would be great for 2 Aussie companies like AT1 and ADO to be working together.
