Just rang the manager of the store who has only been in the place for one week & he thought it was improved because they had done the paint out of the store.
He seemed to think the fit out of the store solved the problem. Eventually he agreed more had to be done on the display side of things, but he didn't come over as any mover & shaker.
A smart manager would have realized it is more than a freshly painted store to make retail sales.
Even though the manager hope I would enjoy my return visit better, I have a feeling I wasted a telephone call on someone who doesn't understand retailing & was just trying to be polite.
Not sure WES are setting new standards in retailing, possibly going backwards. Current economic times need extra effort in retailing not less.
