bnbg - what the?

What is going on? How can the restructure result in the BNBGs having little or no value? Do they mean that there is no equity left, so the notes are theoretically worthless at the moment OR do they mean that restructuring will see noteholders rights flushed down the toilet. I fail to see how the latter is in our best interest. Sounds dodgy to me.
