Yes, it's disgusting and sad that they cannot see that even a little token gesture like saying: "Look, appreciate we're hurting [thru little fault of our own]. In a sign of solidarity, we forego these option rights." I am convinced it would actually benefit them in the long term a lot more (thru a much higher SP, SH loyalty and later bonus rewards) than pulling a few more 100k out of the kitty when we've just lost $100M.
