Absolutely incorrect - market participants generate a chart not what a company does.
To ignore any part of a chart historically is a cop out especially with LTR - which part do you like to ignore ? I'm guessing the first half so that the threat of the double top is removed.
Of course you would prefer working from a "low point" - then every chart would be in an uptrend.
