@Ianwil; we toured China in 2003. What was being written about China in Australia at the time was nothing like what we saw and experienced.
Almost twenty years on we've watched what's been broadcast out of China and listened carefully to friends whose partners are from China but who now call Australia home.
China today is nothing like it was fifty years ago. Sadly Australia's politicians are incapable of getting their heads around that and some even still think there are Reds under their beds and storming their way down through the Indonesian Archipelago.
