You are right. They now are using LG Chem in the new-released version. They choose LG CHEM's battery this time after comparing with other suppliers' batteries.
We all know that.
But they signed a strategic partnership with Samsung SDI, and no report say they are no longer working together.
Everything is possible, just like Tesla could use all LG CHEM, CATL and Panasonic's batteries.
If Lucid is going to expand their production lines, they could do same like Tesla.
The future global demand of batteries is huge, and LG Chem can't supply all manufacturers.
